Taking my car to Toyota today to get looked at for the crickets, starting to annoy me, hopefully they have a replacement for the fuel pump, read somewhere there was a new TSB in may with a new replacement.

Cool, let us know! Crickets are annoying me too But it sounds like everyone who gets it fixed has it come back. Gonna let some other people try out the new pump before I waste my time driving across town to Subaru.

GL with crickets. I dont notice it anymore. As far as armrests I just got a 80 buck one off ebay and love it. It doesnt attach anywhere and can easy removed. This one just fits in and can slide back and forth, it doesnt use the cupholder to brace. It also matches the interior (red stitching and leather) well and has held just fine. I have pictures in my build. To me it was hard to justify the more pricey options for a more expensive one, when this one is comfortable and does the same thing.

I didn't have any luck with mine when I tried for the hell of it. I was out 1,000 vin numbers or so of the affected batch if that helps. The new pump is just as loud.

I know Universal couldnt even see the part on their internal system. I think they told me that they could only see options that were offered in the US.

I just had to tell you guys... I got the Covercraft Heat Shield and this thing is AWESOME!! My car sits outside all day while I'm at work, and although I did get it tinted, the steering wheel was still burning hot when I got in at the end of the day. This thing makes ALL the difference!! It is pretty pricey but they make it to fit your car perfectly and it is really well made. I'm very impressed!! Link here: http://www.autoanything.com/driving-...A1228A0A0.aspx

This pic shows this particular GT86 Toyota part # PZ435-10340-00 for LHD is European sourced and likely only available as an import item from vendors until Toyota picks it up in the USA parts pipeline as an official Scion accessory. Going price in Europe is around 200 Euros so not feasible to order one there with the current exchange rate + shipping. Seems like there were rumors awhile back an armrest was coming for the US market!

Came across linkage for the installation instructions...17 page .pdf doc....FYI. Looks like something IKEA would put together!!!

I'd be down for one if they were about $80 or so like all the other aftermarket add-ons out there. Can't wait to see yours installed, Tucker. (...might have to change my mind if it is really nice!)

i've got some hopes for it! I'm just praying that it isn't as ikeaish as it tends to look mounting wise. As much as i used the one in my truck and my posture in the car when not driving it balls to the wall i like it and the one i ordered being the OEM part the clean fit and finish i want is there and the latching open and closed is also big on my list. Can't wait for it to get here and hope to have it by the run to show y'all guys what it looks like!

Also really digging the brake light module and made a sort of write up here for others who are thinking about this cost effective little mod!

Been running the new Dynotronics ecutek RaceRom 5 and all I can say is daaaaam! This car is a beast! Thanks to Joe this tune has woken up this car. All i got is this tune and the TRD intake. Car feels very fast!

Also I never had the crickets and the idle is super stable now. Car sounds wicked at redline! I am closing in on 6200 miles.
