I like that turn at 35 and Loop 410 going west....not sure how fast I have taken that one. I have seen people drift it though...

I saw a hot lava FR-S yesterday around 4:00pm while I was riding the shuttle from the airport to the parking lot where my car was.

Today should be the day for my vortech install. I'm off work at 230 so hopefully by then ups delivers my kit so I can start the install. I'm going to try and make a short video montage if the install and driving afterwards as well so we'll see what happens.

How long do you think it is going to take you to install it? Are you going to be at the Dyno session on the 20th?

Not sure on install time, I'm shooting for a goal of 8 hours but I am prepared to take longer if needed. If it does take longer ill work well into the night and I also have the day off from work tomorrow just in case. I'd like to be at the dyno day but I'm not able to get the day off from work and even if I was able to I have tickets for motogp so I would be up in Austin that day, but i'm still gonna try and get it dynoed after the install and a few datalogs.

It definitely doesn't look difficult. I think it would only take one person 4 hours or so. Assuming they are reasonably mechanically inclined.
It may take a little bit to figure out how to get the bumper off and back on if you haven't done it before, but other than that it all seems pretty straight forward.

Yeah it doesn't seem too difficult, I'm just planning extra time just in case I run into a few problems along the way which hopefully I don't. Ill keep you guys posted though and let you guys know about the install ounces everything's finished up.

Installed the TRD Cold Air Intake today. Nice sound, running the TRD exhaust as well. Havent had time to put it to any real use yet. With the sound tube deleted, its much less intrusive cabin noise now, at highway speeds in particular. Very clean looking install, quick/painless. Looks OEM for sure. Ill post some pictures later, when I have some more butt dyno data. After the ECU reboots itself.

Toyota of Boerne. I think the part itself was $425. I called them on a Friday to inquire/order, they told me 5-7 business days...got a call that very next Monday. Very quick turnaround on delivery.

So, I'll be taking my car to a body repair shop tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the roof will hVe to be replaced and the rest will have to be PDR'd.
I really hope that the ****head who jumped on my car at least slipped while getting off and broke his face.
I'll be driving a no-fun-car for a while...
