standard sound system rating
what do you guys think the rating will be? 200w? 300w?

Hello everyone!
I have JUST signed up, even before I even have my Leon. I just haven't collected it yet. As such, I am looking up everything I can to try and distract myself from the fact that I actually don't have it outside! I've looked everywhere, but can find little information on the standard speakers fitted to the car. I have the SX spec, if that makes any difference. It still has the standard head unit (CD) fitted too. Lots of people say that the standard speakers sound alright with just a new head unit, can anyone confirm this? I had a really nice setup in my last car, and want to get something similar again. Also, I could find nothing on the ratings of the original speakers or headunit! Is there anything written on them? Last but not least, is there any way at all I can keep the LCD display from the dash display working with a new head unit, even if it is one particular model? I know some of this is out there in other places, but I thought while I am asking one question, I may as well ask many. Answers to any would be great! Thanks very much in advance. p.s. you all have great taste in cars... |
