Tsukuba is a real race track. It was faster there. It's a really tight, technical track, but that still qualifies as a real track.

In just saying it's not a great test of a cars track capabilities. Either way, it's not the car this thread is about

Kinda Gimick looking.
What is the benefit of a centerline exhaust? Seems like it would be cheaper to have standard exhaust and design the diffuser around that. |

This thread makes me want to quit coming to this place. Jesus fucking christ, people. This car isn't showing up at your local Scion dealership for you to test drive and scoff at the [currency converted and thus inaccurate for US market] $57k MSRP.

True, it's not the same car, but many would argue that tight, technical tracks like Tsukuba are more challenging than something like the Nurburgring, which favors cars that are faster in a straight line and don't necessarily handle better (not as agile). There's a reason why it's one of the most famous and popular tracks in the world for time attack racing.

Yes, you're right that Tsukuba don't need hp to run fast... but when you DO have car that have power, it's ridiculous. My uncle & his team/shop used to run Tsukuba often (R32) and he always said that "It's easy to race with stock R32, but it's so hard in highly modded GTR in the track." & by anyways, he's beginner at this Tsukuba. He have done several endurance race and hot laps at Tsukuba & several other tracks in Japan. I, myself have never raced in Tsukuba nor Nurburgring to say which is harder, but I do believe both of em are hard in their own way. |

I know
I wonder what they will do if they decide to market these parts as standalone items. I do believe that you don't need a rear foglight in Japan but they are required by law in other parts of the world (certainly here in the UK). |
