Still running it like a champ. It has held up great. I run E85 all summer and hammer it all the time. I am going to take the car up to around 400WHP (currently 365) this summer and don't plan on a new clutch (or tranny - knock on wood) but it would not completely surprise me if one or the other or both wears out at this point. This little engine/car - tuned correctly has shown awesome longevity. Don't have any complaints at all about the SB setup. It's an awesome DD/Sport choice.

Last dyno was around 365whp and 268wtq.
All this said - I have noticed that the car is starting to be more difficult to handle at low rpms on little inclines. (grips/shudders a little) It never had an issue until the last couple of weeks. I drive the thing hard and on corn juice it delivers torque really fast. I am going to try slipping it pretty hard to see if it's glazed or anything. Maybe a fluid change and probably take a peek soon. It's a DD and there is so much friggin stop and go traffic in Portland and then I hammer the crap out of it as soon as I get any chance Last edited by Fastbrew; 07-14-2016 at 05:57 AM. |

Awesome! Make sure to follow the break in process correctly. No boosting - messing around (drive like a granny) for the mileage they recommend. I think I did a few hundred miles and it was killing me. Such a good clutch. It will feel almost OE to you with none of the shenanigans that a ceramic and other clutches can during have during DDing

This is a tempting clutch, along with the SB Stage 2 daily or the Exedy stage 2.

I'd like to order this combo, it sounds like this plus the Velox clutch fork will do wonders in terms of holding, feel, and sound. I shouldn't have any issues boosting, I'll be breaking in a built motor.

If I remember - it is lighter than stock - not much but lighter - don't quote - give them a call for the exact weight. They are super responsive. You might have to just get their weight and compare it to the stock weight to get the exact numbers. In action - it feels close. I haven't driven SBs lightweight but I bet it's really well behaved on the road as well. I don't think it is "super-light".
