My strano bar with shorter whiteline endlinks is silent.

I get a couple noises from the rear whiteline bar/endlinks, but I'm ditching the whiteline links for racer-x spherical one that aren't just perma-bound like the whiteline setup.

Which Whiteline endlinks are you using? If I remember correctly, the ones that they include with their bars are too long. Did you special order those?

Oh, yeah, I tried to get some of those last year and never could find them in stock anywhere. What was your impression of them?

Just wondering what the "legality" of the new irp shifter is:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=111626

The rulebook states "Any mechanical shift linkage may be used" so it should be all good, just wanted to check here to be sure.

I don't think you can remove the shift/trans stabilizer.
I'd say not legal, unless you could leave that part in (which I doubt).

I'm putting one in. I probably should have asked for a clarification first lol! I'll run it until someone says otherwise.

That's not just part of the shifter mechanism? From what I can tell, everything you remove is a part that moves when you shift (or holds those parts, exclusively). I guess I need a better diagram of what comes out.

edit: Ok, it's clear not everything moves. It's not clear that it does anything other than hold the shifter, though. The difference is the stock shifter mounts to the transmission vs the car frame. I think.

Based on the fact that they are explicitly called out as allowed for stock (with the limitation that they must maintain the offset rules outlined) and the fact there is an open allowance for wheels, as long as the width meets the rules... I think they'd be allowed.

That said, that's a lot of offset change. Something seems off here to me with your setup (it could be you're not trying to be competitive, but don't want to be illegal either... or something. I should stop guessing.)

On springs only maybe? Less inside clearance but could be locally competitive possibly.

I'm not sure that would fit, for other reasons - at 35 offset and 255/40/17 with -3.3f/-2.2r camber I'm awfully close to being too close to the fenders.
