Project 7 - Update #3 / Overview (Con't):

Engine back in after:
-Replacing missing rear cam cover
-Removing aftermarket motor mounts and installing OEM
-Installing OEM Exhaust Manifold, O2 and A/F Sensors
-Installing new drive belt

Now to repair the core support

Test fit and adjustments to match OEM measurements:

Right and Left Radiator Supports welded up and color matched:

Assembling with parts I have:

And a little preview of the interior additions:

Currently waiting on quite a few things before I can continue...
Ran out of paint before I was able to paint the new front bumper beam, Radiator T-Brace and left fender support...
Car came with no front end so I keep having to order bolts and brackets to install other components...
Headlights, Left Fender, Hood, Airbox and more are all here waiting to be installed...as well as a complete 2017 BRZ Performance Pack Suspension.

Airbag module and seatbelts have been sent to MyAirbags.com for repair/reset.

Still need to find/get: Cat-Back Exhaust, Wheels & Tires, Steering Wheel Airbag, front bumper components, battery, hold-down, windshield, etc.

Today I will be: installing the over-pipe, replacing a stripped front wheel stud, evaluating brake system, cleaning interior, replacing cabin filter...

Today got the 2017 Performance Pack struts & springs installed, flushed and bled the brake fluid, replaced a broken lug stud, replaced both rear trailing arms (bent from the salvage yard forklift), reattached the underbody fuel line protector, installed the aluminum engine undercover, bought a set of BRZ Series Blue STI wheels and tidied up as much as I could.

Now in a holding pattern till more paint and more parts arrive.

Project 7 - Update #4

Original owner sent me the Ecutek kit, dongle and the OEM Shift knob & injectors

Replaced clock spring and installed new airbag

Still waiting on the airbag control module and seatbelts to come back from MyAirBags.com, then I'll re-assemble the interior and clean it.

Installed the right fender, headlight and front end ducting

Have the radiator, condenser, T-Brace, hood latch, hood, air box, etc all waiting to be installed but I'm missing the foam air ducting for the side of the radiator (should be here Tuesday). Got the wiper washer tank installed and the hood release cable replaced

Drivers side fender and front bumper go to the paint shop sometime this coming week.
Also got a complete exhaust system from some of the local 86 guys that I will be installing soon!

LOL, they look like that after sitting on the quick jack for awhile. They settle a little lower once driven around. New windshield was installed today!

Project #7 - Update 6:

First drive, went to Wawa to buy some Non-ethanol fuel to dilute the E85 in the tank

New windshield installed

Pulling half the dash again to fix a loose wire at the ECM that was causing the P0453 code...

Repaired wire, CEL went off!

Drove it to work today and got another code on the way home, P0353-Cylinder 3 Ignition Coil issue. Replaced it this evening. Car gets inspected by the state of Florida next Thursday!
