Still worked just fine. So, whatever, I am not returning it. Any comments?

Just did the clutch spring removal mod and I cannot believe I hadn't taken the 20 minutes or so to do it earlier. No more jerky 1-2 shifts, no more bouncing revs every downshift, it seriously feels like a different car.

To anyone who is considering this mod, do it as soon as you have a moment. Cannot recommend it enough.

You referring to blue arrow, I am asking about the red arrow which is missing with the pad I installed.

I have Hawk DTC 30's and don't have that piece. I have no clue what they're for and have always snapped them off. I don't use shims either.

EDIT Still may be part of the wear tab. Weight reduction lol They're a pain if you're flipping back and forth between pads.

It just gives tension to help reduce noise from vibration. No other purpose.

Finished to fit the eibach pro kit lowering springs. Easy, no need for special tools. Can't drive th car yet as I need to replace the sway bar links, which will come on tuesday. I needed to cut them out, damn rust (long winters and salty roads of Norway).

More weight reduction. It's a single seater now lol According to my math and weights from around the forum I'm down 180lbs+

I can't wait to drive it tomorrow.

The front bumper and the 3 plastic pieces you have to remove below are a PITA. I'm going to make a single piece out of aluminum come winter. The rest of the car is a dream to work on.

Looks fantastic! Is that a custom wrapped OEM wheel? Looks cleaner than other aftermarkets and similar to the discontinued TRD wheel, AKA I want it lol
