You got this man!

I just bought an SSD, price looked too good. Been a while since I messed with my computer heh.

You know you live near a coast when you hear seagulls hollering outside while you're just hanging out in the library

Me too! Samsung Evo 840 250GB for 140 bucks, and then had 30 dollars in Best Buy rewards certificates.
I had a 1TB Western Digital black that I had trimmed down from 500GB to just under 200GB to get it to fit, and then the damn Samsung software wouldn't perform the data migration. So I started from scratch on a fresh 8.1 build. Love the boost in performance!

OEM parts for this car take forever.

Go to the parts center, cabin air filter takes two weeks. Front rotors are a crazy $145. You can almost three centric front rotors for the price...

Morons.
Morons everywhere.
A person waits until they're 2 car lengths away from the exit they need, and try bullying me to let them in. (This is common, both freeway exits are in the right lane so people try to cheat by going into the left and cutting off people in the right.) I decide to not have it and block them. They throw the BIGGEST hissy fit. Laying on their horn, waving their arms around. The light turned red and she jumped out of her car. WTF is her problem?

Also @IntotheOcean
Why you gotta hate auto trans on this car? I'm looking at autos for this car and I'd plan to do autox/track.

I FINALLY GOT MY 86!!!!

Also, engine break-in is kinda tedious on the interstate.... At least I got half of it out of the way on the way back from Kentucky.

Love the ultramarine monograms.
This car looks soooo good in about any color.
Congratulations. Stay safe out there.

Going to watch an MLS game for the first time ever tomorrow. As a not-Canucks hockey fan, how much beer will I need to drink to be entertained by North American professional soccer?

Yeah, got it back home safe and sound. Managed to have some ass-hat kick up a rock and chip my windshield though...😡

Argh my watch is running a bit faster than I'd like, but every time I open it to adjust is an annoyance as I don't like the dust that inevitably gets on the rear glass. 10 seconds a day...that's not bad right @Dimman? Maybe I'm just sleeping in the wrong position.

Also I kind of really want a 996.1, they are SO cheap (when everything is working), the kind of miles I'd put on it as a student would mean the chance of something breaking is really small. Heck their gas mileage isn't even that bad, they hold luggage nicely, 3000lbs curb weight makes it one of the lightest Porsches around, and smaller females are able to sit in the back. Darn, this feels like the start of a long history of bad financial decisions relating to cars...

10 seconds per day is pretty good. If you're worried about dust get a blower. They are like a hollow rubber ball with a nozzle. Squeeze it for a little jet of spit-free air. As for sleeping with your watch on...

Sorryyyyy -Its personal preference. To each their own, I just found it slightly amusing when people on fb where up in arms about it, lol.

On a different note, Have you driven mt before? I've gotten a lot of shit for it from my non-car friends. It was rather discouraging, I feel like a majority of noobs like myself are swayed in the other direction due to fear/stepping outside of their comfort zone. If you have the patience for it, its a lot of fun. (But this is where personal preference steps in, Auto always bored me) I wanted to drive stick since I was 16, but it was such the norm on this cluster fuck of long island not to, I never bothered with it...anyway All I'm saying is its worth giving it a shot at least to know for sure what transmission suits you best.

I can drive both. Honestly speaking, I find that AT guys don't bash MT guys, but MT guys HAVE. TO. GET. IN. YOUR. FACE. about their choice of transmission. The insecure party I find is usually the MT guys, probably prompted by the fact that there's so much doom and gloom surrounding the future of the stick. Since I can do both, my choice of tranny is dependent on it's primary use. If it's a car I commute to work with everyday and track maybe 4 times a year, it's going to be an AT. If it's a weekend toy only, than it's an MT. If I was buying an offroader, it'd be an MT. If I was buying a grocery hauler, it's going to be an AT. Learn and understand both, then you have the best of both worlds.
