Well guys its official. I have signed the contract for a new car this morning thus trading in the FRS. Shortly after @Sivtec has left I will be too. We really have to stick together. Though I hope not to lose all you as friends. I wanted to give a special thanks to @thesleeper for being the first from the group to show me the ropes and introduce me to everyone. @evo4g63 was the first one i met to buy a part from and didnt even know it. Plus all the others i met that first night. i also wanted to thank @Ninjin for all the late nights helping me work on the car. Its been great with all the road trips to vegas and California. I do plan to stick around as you are all great friends. I really just wanted to say thank you to this community. And for anyone ive missed to mention i hope to talk to you again. All the faces and car builds. All something ive never had before out of a local car group.

Shout out to everyone i met that first night and friends along the way.


@nelsmar the other big guy in the group our bro mance will not fade lol
@BugeyedWagon a fellow car show nut that was always there at 5 am washing the car when others slept
@Yruyur probably has bought most of my parts and i remember taking forever figuring out his screen name. Also helped when trying to find places before moving here
@jeffsides nothing but the nicest guy ever along with anyone else always willing to lend a hand and never shy to say hi
@chrisbfrs shortly after moving here this guy was the first i looked to for those tattoos lol
@SMOKETREES also one of the first guys i met. Your girlfriend even helped me when it came to my dog and i needed to find a vet.

Everyone has just been great. This frs/brz group has grown so large its amazing, as 86bash has shown us just how large.This would have probably been more fitting on thanksgiving but forgive me.

I have to say I am impressed with the FR-S for being what it is coming from the Vette its done surprisingly well.

No one has pushed to race me since I switched to E85.

As much as our cars weren't really built for straight line speed, it's good to see that the potential is there without being highly modified. Hearing this makes me want headers now ... damn I hate having this addiction, but love it at the same time.

You'd be surprised what you can do with headers and a tune. Now if I could just get a flex fuel kit for an extra 20 HP.

Hey if I offended you with my offer it was unintentional. I saw your for sale thread and my jaw hit the floor. I am still interested but I figured maybe I could talk you into a partial trade for some stuff you may need or want. Either way don't leave me hanging because I really do want those seats.

No its ok, I just didn't want to offend you after looking at prices. I am more than willing to hook up a local member I just didn't think telling you the prices I found were not close to your offer would end well.

Trades always interest me, I am fine with chatting about it I just didn't want it to create a problem.

I like to think I'm pretty reasonable. You can't argue with the market though. I saw a few brz premium seats going for somewhere in the six hundred area. Haven't seen enough plain FRS seats to establish an average, also you did say to make an offer. I'd be stupid to offer what you're asking regardless of how high or low you were asking, unless it was a smoking deal. You have to start somewhere.
