Thanks, that was my first time @ TWS, second session. Got some awesome tips from our chief instructor Marc Sherrin. I'd like to give it another shot and put together a clean lap!

So it is most certainly not the "fastest" an 86 has lapped TWS but I am more than happy with it!

2:06.852

Mods: Koni yellows on stock springs, whiteline front swaybar, veryyyyyy worn hoosier A6's that I bought used from a TT car just to get me through the weekend (245/40/17 squeezed on to a 7" wheel), and the nameless muffler delete.

Any and all advice is more than welcome!!!

I am by no means an expert, I've been to TWS once, but got lots of tips from one of our chief instructors, Marc Sherrin, who I believe has a TWS lap record with NASA, and I ended up getting a 1:59 out of the car there. Here's my feedback from what I saw in your video:

Turn 1 - track out to the Yellow Square, drivers right (@ 0:14)

Turn 5 - you should be flat through T5, and stay tight to the apex (lots of camber)

Turn 7 - you should be flat

Turn 8 - looks like you are mid-track before turning in for 8. Should be at the right edge of the track before 8

Turn 12 - you should be flat

Thanks! So I am flat out through 5 and 12 but I'm stock so it may not seem like it lol. 7 is going to take a lot more bravery.... And interestingly enough I got the chance to talk with Denny stripling (srf national champion) about turn one as well as several other well experienced people and I heard very mixed opinions about turn one. I wish I had some data to see which way around it was quicker:-/
I suck at turn 8... Very badly. When I'm back in January that will be my main focus!!!!! And I'll be on decent and appropriately sized tires lol.

Anyone else interested in going to the scca club trials in January?
