Nice! I forget the name of it but there's a small breakfast place across the street from the lot you're in (IIRC) and it has some pretty tasty omelettes and pancakes .

I'm going back to Nicks tomorrow. I think I'm going Bear Creek rd to 9 to 1 and up to pacifica. My biscuits and gravy were so much at Alice's that I wasn't hungry. I still want my clams. My wife has plans with friends again, so wtf!

The Junction has been open the past few weekends. Not sure if the hours are consistent and if it's still their soft opening or what though.

I'm trying to get tomorrow off. It's the last day my wife has off before she starts her new job Monday, so we will probably be in the hills tomorrow. I've never stopped at one of the breakfast places in Davenport, so might do that.

I might be out Sunday morning if I can knock enough things off my Honey-do list on Saturday.

Last time I did Mines on a December morning the road was frozen and icy, so a little tentative to go back out there. But, good to know The Junction is open.

I was thinking about doing a drive this weekend, not sure whether on Sat or Sun. Possibly start from SJ side up and over Mt. Ham, to the Junction and Livermore?

Or... go karting at Dublin K1 anyone? @MyRx @Clipdat @MisterSheep @driggity @spike021 @overlookedx @BigFatFlip

Thanks for the invite @PMok but I don't think I'll be available this weekend. Saturday - rip car apart for new owner of said removed parts then basketball league championship game
Sunday - daughter's xmas hula performance

IF you decide to go karting, try Sunday ~7pm. It's when the fast guys practice. They race first Sunday of the month @7pm, practice on Sundays 7pm.

I'm down for that, let me know what day/time. Might be better to go earlier in the day? I know it gets real busy on the weekends and the wait times are ridiculous

I'd be down for karting. Haven't ever gone before, so I'd prefer a time when it's not crowded.

Mon-Thur least busiest.

They've been allowing me to select the groups I run with so my wait time depends on the least busiest or more experienced drivers' groups. Bringing in my own helmet helps a little bit but otherwise I ask politely to put me in less full groups or in the experienced group.

Bay area weekend drives are a whole day slog for me, so probably won't be able to do very many of those with such short notice. I'd be down for weeknight karting though, Dublin is doable if it's late enough.

Sac K1 is 2 exits from my work and I like to go on Thurs lunch or afternoons. I bring my own helmet and they let me choose run groups too, but I usually choose the noobs since I like to have a false sense of supperiority . Kid groups are hit or miss since those fuckers can be really fast!
