Thanks again, best of luck with all your projects!

Well unfortunately after I put these and went for a drive I had an oil leak on the drivers side. Bowl around the filter was full of oil and oil was puddled on top of the engine. Highly doubt these caused the issue, put stock parts on. Loved the short drive I went on. Can't wait for them to go back on.

That is VERY odd, and I can honestly say of the dozens of these kits we've sold to BRZ and FRS owners (including multiple installed locally) we have never seen nor heard of anything like this.

Did you find out what the problem was? Was anything else done during the install? Did the filter, or cap, or anything else come loose for some reason?!

Let's hope this doesn't send the forum into full panic mode

Like I said, I don't see any reason these would have caused an issue. I'm taking it to the dealer to have them check it out. All I want to do is put these back on. The fitment was awesome, zero wobble.

I am just wanting to put them back on.

Damn oil filters, new filter on, pulleys back on. The fun resumes. I have noticed a bit better drivability with the pulleys on, the engine doesn't seem to be working as hard to increase speed. The quick spin up on take off makes driving in the rain fun.

So you just had a random issue with your oil filter? Whew!

Glad you are enjoying the pulleys!

It was an Amsoil filter. First problem with any of their products, I'm going to try and work with them to hopefully prevent further issues.

I can't wait for you guys to make pulleys to replace the rest of them.

Placed an order. I'll be sure to include a quick review once I get them installed.

I'm still trying to decide what mods I should do to mine.
2013 FR-S -- Automatic
Fully stock currently.

These pulleys are definitely catching my attention though...

So I went on a 300+ mile drive. I'm pretty sure I have gotten an increase in fuel mileage. My average had been 28.2 for the longest time. It has climbed to 28.5 since Thursday.

The weight reduction in the rotating assembly leads to better MPG if you can keep your driving habits the same as before.
