Yup, still OEM sensor. I guess the D-Box may help with the fluctuations that the sensor gets so you might be able to run a larger sensor but there is no need to.

Ha ha I went to cross reference the Whataboutbob's Install Notes on the instruction manual that came with my kit. Took me a bit of head scratching until I realised they were different. I have the Sprintex install manual.. his is the Innovate. I wonder which are better to follow.. Innovates appears to be a bit more in depth but I guess it probably makes little difference.

Follow sprintex as they are the maker of the kit. Innovate was just the us distrubuter before sprintex took over

I'm a bit unsure which way to go, trailer the car down to a local Ecutek tuner and pay for them to tune it on the dyno. Still have to pay for the Ecutek license and dyno-time. I'm unsure how much experience they've had with these SC kits.. I doubt it would be much.

Or e-tune
Xero-limit, their package is $849
DT, their package is $1095
(+75 for the TJ Hunt Especial - Crackle and Pop I have no idea what that is..)
Im not sure where you see the 11psi MAP recommendation on DT website, but i initially had DT tune my car with the 75mm pulley on stock MAP with no issue tune was great no real complaints.

I then switched to WMI with 72.5mm pulley and had xero-limit do my tune, and then had him revise my tune for the 69mm i am currently using. Both tunes/tuners where great, but Mike has been incredibly helpful and patient in really dialing in the tune and working with what i wanted so i will personally continue to use him.

With the intercooler the PSI reading fluctuates too much at the MAP location, something about the design of the heat-plate and turbulence etc... so with the intercooler kit people just use stock MAP sensor and the tune is done more so with the MAF. Without the intercooler i think a 3bar could work not 100% sure. but i think most people just stick to stock MAP regardless.

assuming you have a new kit and are referencing the newest revision of the install document, i had no real issue following the sprintex install manual.

Hey guys Im back for an update. Currently have the 210 Sprintex supercharger kit w/ intercoller + 94 Octane + 69mm pulley w/ full catless exhaust... after waiting weeks for a OEM gas cap I found the problem. My P0451 CEL code was indeed the gas cap. I have an OBD reader which enables me to erase the codes. I simply installed the new OEM gas cap and erased the code. Its been almost a month and the code hasen't come back on. Problem is finally solved. I hope this helps anyone going through the same thing....

Hey I was just wondering if most of you guys removed your bumper for the Intercooler or install it from underneath?

For those who are on E85 with this setup, did you guys upgrade your injectors? Looking at the Sprintex google sheets, it says it's suggested to upgrade to 700cc injectors. How many of you guys have done it? Do you feel a difference in power delivery?

Honestly didn't even think about trying to install it from underneath with out removing the bumper, but i have also removed the bumper so many times its a 15 minute job at this point. I imagine it would be more difficult to do underneath, and the increased difficulty might take longer then removing the bumper would be to begin with.

That.. that does not sound fun at all.

The only reason I ask is.. every time I've removed a bumper (from other cars) I've never managed to get it the same again. Bumper gaps. Hate them.

But if most people remove the bumper that's cool I'll do that. Definitely not keen to lie down in a puddle in the pouring rain lol. I'm too old for that.

Has anyone got any example dyno charts of this kit running without aftermarket headers, and one with?

I don't have headers - but do have a cat back system. I'm trying to understand what's a typical power increase when adding headers to a supercharged car.

Typical gain is 10-15 whp vs stock headers from what I have read.
