Just here to brag a bit... I ran the SilverBench tests to see how the new beast stacks up to the competition. Turns out I'm taking home the bronze medal in performance testing and the shiny gold medal for stress testing! I knew this machine was a beast, but I had no idea just how awesome it is. So far the test has been run 1,465,347 times.

... I think it's time to name this thing. Ideas?

I do think there is a fundamental difference in games designed for consoles versus pc.
I draw my conclusion from the handful of games that I have played that have been ported to pcs or have been made for multiple platforms.
It seems to me that console games have excessive hand-holding. Constant "press "a" to do this", "mash button "b" to do this". I have mapped (hopefully been able to) the buttons, I know which buttons do what. On screen threat indicators drive me nuts. My sound system tells me where the enemies are.
Yeah, I often think console games have been dumbed down.

So Fallout 4 came out, which everyone is playing. I meanwhile have not bought it yet. I remember when playing Fallout 3 and New Vegas, travelling without a home base was a normal thing, but now I saw that you can build a base and have settlers (its like Fallout Shelter but more Fallout).

I refute your statement. I haven't bought it and nor am I playing it. The wife doesn't play games on computer. My mum isn't playing it either.
Q.e.d. Not everyone is playing it.

I don't give a lot of attention to user reviews at Metacritic but I find the review distribution on Fallout 4 interesting.

I read through a lot of the 0 reviews.

Appears to be a few different people creating multiple brand new accounts and leaving bad reviews.

Personally, so far, I am loving the game.

Top score reviews: mostly blind fanboys with some legitimate reviews

Bottom scores: mostly people hating the game for the simple sake of hating the game. i.e review from the day it came out: bad leveling system and story (so you've been able to tell all that from playing a whole 2 hrs wow)

For me, the game is still great, it may have some glitches here and there (but nothing close to any recent ubisoft titles) and not fond of the oversimplification of the dialogue but can deal with the tech tree. That being said, I could spend hours and many point talking about the negatives of this game(there are a lot) but I think the fact I have logged over 10hrs in 2 days speaks for itself, the shortcomings do not affect the awesomeness of this game (probably why you still see people saying negative things here and trhere but still giving the game 9/10, sounds like the score is disconnected from the review points but the good things in the game more than make up for the shortcomings hence the high rating)

Oh noes!
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided pushed back to August
http://www.pcinvasion.com/deus-ex-ma...ayed-to-august

I had already bought a new graphics card in anticipation.
I might buy Fallout 4 sooner than anticipated.

Need some advice from the PC nerds. I've been out of the seen for a bit

I built my current rig in 2011 with an updated card a few years ago
- intel core i5-760
- 4gb ddr3 1333 ram
- 560 gtx 2gb
- my board http://www.pc-specs.com/mobo/GigaByt...-P55-USB3/1703

Been playing on medium settings at the moment, but planning on picking up a 960 gtx card tomorrow (or should i splurge on a 970?) and already plan on overclocking it slightly to make everything ultra. (fallout 4)

Just wondering where my bottleneck would be... should i pick up another 4gb ram? start overclocking the CPU?
