I have issue connecting/updating OFT/OFM.

Recently tried to connect OFT with OFM to update software. OFM says that OFT was connected correctly at the beginning and started downloading updates but it hung at around 96% and while downloading something named "GPX.exe" (or similar) which brought out a XML error message.

I then cancelled which OFM crashed out. I re connected but the error message which was shown in the screenshot below kept appearing (even after reinstalling OFM 1.10.0). if i clicked continue and it gets stuck at "Device identified".

Anyone can help? thanks in advance.

It would be easier if you just downloaded and installed the newest version of OF Manager (1.11.0). It's quicker than having and older version auto-update to the newest version. It's available for download off of the openflashperformance.com website. That will solve your problem.

thanks Steve and Shiv. however the download page only show OFM 1.10.4 and not 1.11.0. will try 1.10.4 first to see if this will fix my issue.

Edit for update:

downloaded and installed 1.10.4 and it installed fine. connected to OFT and it has the same issue being stuck at PwgPRO.exe at 96% (ie. same as before). reconnected OFT/OFM again and same issue occured as before. thanks.

Seems like there are people with technical problems with OFT. I hope I don't come across this when I get mine.

thanks.
Reading the error text it appears your antivirius is blocking download. suggest temporarily disabling antiviruis to do install
