Can this kit be ordered with the c38-71 instead of the 81? The 71 seems like a better fit if e85 isn't involved.

I think it might be possible. @Jackson Racing?

You have it installed backwards - flip the BPV around and it goes away. If you want to be sure, PM me your # and I will text you a picture of mine.

Why not post a picture for all to see?

Umm, duh - because it's super top-secret stuff happening here.

Nah, I lied - I'm just too lazy to host the pic somewhere. I've already sent it to 2 people - if they want to host it... be my guest. :-)

Ugh... the things you do for the good of community:

Use the pulleys to figure out which direction the BPV is oriented.

To prevent questions: This is the Forge FMDV008 - direct swap for the plastic Keiser BPV included in the JR kit and you can get them in black or silver. Also, run the green spring (you need to request that it comes with the green or buy the "tuning kit"): Green - 5-15 PSI, Yellow - 15-23 PSI, Blue - 23-30 PSI, Red - 30 + PSI.

FAQ:
I put this is and it sounds annoying - it sounds like it evacuates pressure slowly: You have it backwards, refer to pictures and flip it around.

I now have a fluttering sound when the BPV relieves pressure: You most likely have a split/cut in the small vacuum hose the goes into the top of the BPV. Inspect that hose and replace as needed.

What does this sound like compared to the plastic Keiser?: The same, maybe slightly louder.

How much HP is added with this mod?: None... or a billion... either way.

What is the point of swapping this out then?: Bling? Fun? You like to tinker with stuff? Or, you just don't like the plastic one that was included with the JR kit.

Duly noted. How different would CARB tune be from your tune?

And could you possibly PM me a quote if I purchased a tune from you guys? I’d need a another license since I already have a dongle that was for my previous BRZ.

I can't really quantify how different it is since CARB tunes are all locked and cannot be viewed, but our tunes typically make about 10-15whp more than CARB setups and I've had folks say they enjoy improved drivability and responsiveness. The other thing to keep in mind is that a non-CARB tune gives you room to expand should you ever decide to modify the car further. CARB setups will allow up to a catback exhaust in addition to the supercharger, but nothing more. Our tunes can be updated to accommodate full exhausts, aftermarket fuel systems, Flex Fuel calibrations, higher boost setups, etc.

If you'd like a full quote or have any other questions, please email me directly at sales@delicioustuning.com.com

Sincerely,

Zach

Drove > 2k miles Christmas week, first long trip since putting the kit on this last summer.

Did great, and the highway mileage was somehow better than pre-kit (got almost 32mpg for long cruise controlled stretches)

I've got the supplied CARB tune, and nameless 3" exhaust from the stock exhaust manifold back.

Really happy with the package other than the shoddy bypass valve!

Recently installed a JRSC C-38 kit with Delicious OTS Tune. It has UEL catless headers, Invidia catless front pipe and Q300 exhaust. I purchased an Invidia over pipe a while back and it wouldn't fit (a inch shorter than OEM) so I returned it and left the stock over pipe in.

Question: Would it benefit me in any way to replace the over pipe on this setup with something after market? I just don't see it getting any kind of a power gain. Getting a dyno done soon so I would like to change out the OP before Dyno. Also would changing it affect the performance of the tune I have from DT? Lots of questions I know but thanks for the help! Cheers!
