Is MAP sensor 3bar necessary?

So for a car with Hks supercharger v2 with 38mm restrictor... With stock MAP sensor logged value of MAP is course capped at 1.37bar. Car is already mapped by a Tuner so it is going good but what are the benefits of putting a 3bar MAP sensor now?
Just a pretty looking logged value or does it actually give some benefits like better compensations while driving on different altitudes?

For the average tuner I would expect no benefit of a wider range sensor. It does have some input to the fueling calculations but not in a detrimental way if you don't change it. Your tuner could add some form of MAP compensation table, but whether it would be noticeable/useful...... or just a "nice to have."

You'd obviously have to have the tune changed to reflect the change in sensor.

the car is of a friend, and it s driving good of course
Are there built in MAP compensation tables in the rom? (za1ja02g)
if so how are they called cause i do not find them

we do not see any form of map compensation in custom maps (it s an ecutek tune)

Ok so for the not so heavy boost this kit gives (i guest somewhere near 8 psi?) it s not fundamental, would just be nice to see the actual boost gain
