DI ECU relationship with DI Injectors - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

is the DI ECU tied to the specific stratified number on the DI injectors? or is the DI Ecu universal?

I'm replacing my engine and the replacement engine has different stratified numbers than my stock motor and the DI Ecu will be from my stock motor.

the DI computer under bonnet does not appear to be linked to other systems or have to be linked to specific di injectors so can be swapped out.

All four DI injectors must have same strat numbers though ie don't mix injector's as long as all four in set same you should be fine

It doesn't matter, I used a DI ECU from another car and it didn't seem to be an issue at all. Like already said, just make sure you have a matching set of injectors.
