launch control for an auto means a higher stall converter...not anything to do with the ecu.

SD has been there for along while most dont use it cause not many run high boost at the moment.

Mine blinks and beeps when the tach hits the indicated RPM while flashing. Scares the crap out of me every time.

Hopefully its to add a sound generator so you pump the engine sounds of Plymouth Laser, Mercury Mountaineer or C4 Corvette Pace car over the car speakers.
