Thanks! and yes, more or less--it worked out. I'm having a PPI done on an E92 M3. How'd you like yours? Anything I should look out for? This would be my first BMW.

Well I am on my second E92 M3 now, so that should tell you how much I like them. They are the best do it all car money can buy. My advice is to never own a modern BMW outside of warranty. The current fear on these is about the rod bearings, and that isn't something that a PPI can check. I would just make sure that you check the maintenance records and that all the fluids were changed out as they were supposed to be at 1,200 miles and that all the Inspections have been done at the correct milages. The nice thing with BMWs is that they have 4 year 50,000 mile warranties and free maintenance so unless the owner is lazy it should have all been done by a dealer and done correctly. You are lucky living in Cali where it seems like 75% of all the nice M3s end up. I had to get mine trucked to Florida from Cali. Can you post a link to the one you are considering. Just like when buying a Cayman, I would buy the newest then lowest mileage one you can afford.
