It's a GTX28 with a bit of a twist. We really like how the recirc worked out. It was a tough fit with actually placing the gate in an ideal spot. We got it done, though.

You didn't ask for it but i'm going to put in MY THOUGHTS....

Beautiful kit so far, love the montra behind your design.

personally there are only three things i would want to change;

intercooler, I'd feed bottom side (like you have) but exit top side to utilize all the cooling of the intercooler (for reference see the evasive HKS FRS intercooler, one of the best designs so far... not a fan of size or orientation but Meh..)

Manifold would be UEL (for that Subura sound, Hint: i own a BRZ)

and lastly would be pipe routing.. i'd rout the intake to the driver fender and cut the bumper beam to let the inter cooler to throttle body run be as short as possible.

again i'm not bashing this kit it's one of the best looking ones around, just personal preference..

the shortest routing looks like it would be under the rad support with both intercooler pipes.
I'm not certain, but it looks like you'd have to either run a shorter core or cut the bumper beam to make room for the piping if it did. Probably flows better coming in from the side as well (just a guess)

I am almost certain its because companies want to use off the shelf intercoolers rather than fabricating new end tanks. I get that it keeps the cost down using existing components rather than building new stuff.
I personally will be buying a boost kit but i will more than likely be modifying the intercooler setup.

It's not a cost/time issue. The intercooler costs the same regardless of which end tank design you pick (at least with treadstone, who made this one).

... but the standard intercooler is in and out on opposite sides there for out the top in the top isnt an off the shelf item at most shops.

I don't want to release any new information before Revworks does so themselves, but here are the pics from their Facebook page. I'll have a full review and tons of pics soon after I get the car home (next few days) and take it on it's maiden 2000 mile road trip .
