How do you Re-Badge?

I plan to remove the Scion badges and change the finish on them. I had a black IS300 that came with gun medal badges, which I really liked. I'm hoping I can get the same effect on the Scion emblems.

My question is, what adhesive do you use to put the badges back on? I assume the original stuff will be FUBAR once removed.

Thanks,

Not sure how you rebadge, but I can confirm that you can't reuse the tacky glue that comes with the lettering.

I'm sure there is a way but it will be hard to get them aligned well. You could use 3M double sided tape if cut well enough.

New emblems come pre-alligned on paper backing for easy application. Here's how it would work if you wanted to use 3M tape, or something close to this.

A friend at a body shop said they do use some kind of double-sided tape. He's going to show me specifically which one.
