Do you have idle hunt with your MT? This one is a tranny control unit flash so certainly not the same problem if you do.

Don't know that there has been anything for the manual. The problem seems to be so intermittent that is possible they have not figured out what is causing it.

Yeah. Sometimes when I'm at idle on a red light my rpms drop and then pick up quickly. Same feeling you get when your about to stall.

My MT does this. Bugs me but not enough that I remember to mention it when I'm at the dealer.

I just had the September TSB done at Toyota for my 2015 AT. It seems to have worked! Granted only drove home on freeway, but I tried to recreate the same conditions (going medium rpms, back and forth from m ant d). No idle dip so far, fingers crossed.
EDIT: Almost a week, a lot of driving in mixed condition scenarios...NO idle hunting Because I was so used to it happening, I was anxiously waiting for it each time I got off the freeway, but so far seems to be solved Last edited by V_86; 11-13-2015 at 12:31 PM. |

I took my car to the dealer for the 7500 miles service, they said there is a service bulletin for a limited number of '15 cars. It had something to do with the crickets. They said they are waiting on parts from japan, but i cant find anything online about what it is.
I got an avalon as a loaner with free gas so I'm not complaining too much, just wondering if anyone else has heard of this bulletin. |

Talked to the dealer again today and they said they are waiting on a fuel pump assembly from japan. Maybe they found a solution for the crickets.
