It was a pretty quick turn around once I had my finances staightened out. Found a DGM in town, called, and two days later had the keys in hand. Now I just need to clear out the garage so I can bring the AE86 over and finish working on that.
I'll get some pics up once I get the BRZ washed. I was lucky enough to pick it up on the 1st of four straight days of rain.

Hey y'all... any recommendations for body shops? I got rear-ended on Friday and insurance is asking me where I want to take it. Anyone have experience with North Park Collision?
I've heard good things about Toyota of Boerne, but do they have a body shop? And if so, would they work on a Subie? Any recommendations would be great! |

I'm going to post here to give y'all first dibs (along with Austin). I am going to be parting ways with my master cylinder brace from @GrimmSpeed. It is an amazing piece to really firm up the brakes, unfortunately it doesn't fit into my new game plan. I am asking $40 obo. I need to acquire a bolt that was lost while uninstalling for autocross and it has roughly 4500 miles on it.

Does anyone in town have the Invidia Q300 catback?
I have the nameless headers, and along with that comes some pretty gnarly rasp. I just want to try a couple of different catbacks if I can before making a purchase. |

@*KID* Looking good, man!
@sparx Congrats!!! Sorry to hear about your mishap, Ariana...dangit. @Ranatsu Dittos on Jack's. Have been happy with using them exclusively when the need arises. Well organized, clean shop, honest, on serious repairs use a critical eye to make sure everything is aligned when they reassemble. No issues with color matching when I've used them - the SWP on the plastic bumper is always going to be difficult to match but, @blunova I'd let them know ahead of time you will be picky on that part whoever you take it to. @Turkish - Good price on that bracket. @alderaan34 - Great deal even with a missing piece you can easily fix! As long as we are advertising parts....I have a slightly used Airaid intake I'll sell for $100. Prolly had it on the car about 6 months or so. PM if interested. Don't forget Twisted Sisters Sat. AM!!!! Check out the SA meetup thread to add you name ... or just show up. Probably borderline having two groups ... Faster drivers to the front ... Noobs and not as insane drivers heading up the back door!!!! Twisted Sisters Run - Saturday, March 29th - Meetup @ The Apple Store in Medina, TX at 9 AM. http://goo.gl/maps/RBCGN

Thanks for your recommendations, guys! I looked up Jack's but it's pretty far from me. Anyone had experience with Boerne Collision? I took my Focus there a few years back and I was happy with them, but I am pretty concerned about the SWP paint match this time!
Also I am totally pissed... the guy hit me from behind in a construction zone and he is claiming that I "rolled back into him," which is BS because it wasn't even on a hill. I thought the fact that he hit me from BEHIND would be enough to put him at fault, but insurance is giving me the runaround because his "story" is different from mine. Arrrgh I am so frustrated!!! |

I asked in the Austin thread and only heard back from @Turkish. I see boosted is going too. I am trying to gather who all is going in Austin and see if anyone is planning a group drive down or if I should start one.
That, or we could just drive down independently, not a big deal. Just wondering |

Just a note on the SWP paint match for the BRZ.
When i had my front bumper repainted at 2-day paint and body in Austin, they found the Subaru paint code for SWP but there were 3 shades to it. The first time they used the middle one because on bright sun it looked like it would match well but after painting, it was clearly too white and not enough pearl. luckily the paint peeled after a few months so I went back to get it repainted in the darkest of the 3 shades of Subaru SWP they had at their cost. It matched up perfectly that time. Hope this helps when it comes time to pick the exact color. They should work with you on that and listen to you. |
