The most likely culprit is a vacuum leak. Can you post an idle log, witht he car fully warmed up?

Here's the car at idle after a 20 minute drive.

I'll start calling around to see what shops are charging for a smoke test.

I flashed the updated EO calibration this morning. On my first few accelerations I'd sometimes get a hiccup in response around 3k-5k RPM. After driving 50-80 miles today the hiccup isn't as pronounced and happens much less often but I occasionally sense faint hint of a much less pronounced hiccup once in a while if I pay attention. I hope my ECU is still "learning" and this will sort itself out eventually (going to email the Edelbrock calibration team about this. They asked me to log it... I'll try if I can find free time). Reminds me of the first released tune where I'd get similar hiccups but much lower around 1k-3k but all that went away over time as the ECU "learned."

Speaking of which, earlier this year in this thread I commented about laggy response on acceleration. I now attribute that to the ECU needing to learn (mentioned above) and being tuned for a stock exhaust instead of my GReddy SP Elite exhaust which probably generates less back pressure on low RPM pulses. The latter was validated last night (I was still on the original initial release tune that fully learned my driving this past year) when I swapped the stock exhaust back on and acceleration felt noticeably smoother than with the GReddy SP Elite. I posted the GReddy up for sale today.

Pedal learning you can sort out immediately after a flash, so no laggy pedal. The only other learning is fuel trims. The hiccup is likely a lean spot, if you're not trimming in enough fuel some just needs adding into the tune.

I flashed back to the initial release tune and throttle has no hint of hiccups when accelerating. It's better than the smog tune in my case so I'll be leaving it like this. Edelbrock spent years bulletproofing the initial release tune then I guess modified that one in even less time for EO certification. So the EO calibration could be more fuel efficient but maybe not be as bulletproof as initial release.

Consider my ECU part number is ZA1JB01C and behavior on the release tune vs EO tune may be different for different ECU part numbers.

ZA1JB01C-enc_Eforce_[MY KEY ID]_DC.BIN <-- Original release tune file name
ZA1JB01C_[MY KEY ID]_EForce_EO.BIN <-- Latest smog tune file name

I wonder what "DC" stands for which got replaced by "EO" (executive order) in the smog tune file name.

Stupid question but how does one drain the S/C coolant loop without making a huge fucking mess?

Does anyone have a link to download the CARB tune for free? It was stated that the tune would be available for free but I can't find a link or anything for it.

**Edit - Nevermind. I just realized you have to email them with for it as stated on the previous page. derp.

Bonus points if you disposed of it in a Mt dew bottle.

The heat exchanger will have quite a bit of fluid left in it afterwards. Also note that supercharger will have a nice reservoir of coolant too.

Already all removed. I forgot to tilt the S/C to let it drain and got it all over my garage.

Can anyone provide specs on the crush washers that go on the HPFP low pressure fuel feed banjo bolt?
