Just an FYI for others with the same concern, I run the grimspeed hood struts with the Radium catch can and bracket with no problem. Cars away for the winter otherwise I'd snap a quick photo for you guys.

Silly question do you get that feeling of being pushed back in your seat like what a turbo would give you? How would you describe the feeling of the SC?

No, it just feels like you have a bigger engine. Like a V6.

So this morning I was pulling onto the highway and noticed the car surging a little on part throttle, it feels like it's pulling timing and was most noticeable around 3.5k RPM. It's on 91octane, the car was warm, ambient temperature was about 55F. My fuel was less than 1/8th of a tank, could it be related to that?

I'll fill up tonight and check again. Gotta keep ECUtek and the laptop in the car more often I guess.

Check the following items:

1. Sensors and lines not directly touching hot sources.
2. Hoses are routed properly.
3. All hoses are clamped down properly to prevent vacuum leak.
4. Make sure the intercooler is filled up accordingly (also burped properly).
5. Make sure your radiator is filled up properly.

Logging does help to identify the problems a little more accurately.

Random question for those with this kit or a vendor that has one nearby and can check..

Can the manifold be taking off of the blower unit or is it a single cast piece?

Thanks!

Any pics you have would greatly help

The manifold and blower unit are all integrated and a single piece (you can technically "pull off" the eaton from the rear, but don't think that's what you meant). The runners (shown in the pic) does come come off but comes bolted together from edelbrock.

Edit: It looks like the top manifold cover could technically be taken off (pic showing underside of the cover) but you're basically taking the whole thing apart at that point.

I'm sure glad they moved that surge tank closer to the front, filling that would have been super awkward and I'm pretty sure I would have dumped coolant on the ECU
