Any reason for the front pipe specifically? It never crossed my mind.
And I'm guessing you can only coat the outside of a catted pipe? Whereas the headers and over pipe could be inside and outside? |

If you are sending out the headers, then get the front and overpipe done as well. It will only help keep your car healthy and the cost is minimal. It's hard to have too much cooling on a track car. |

I think that is correct on coating the inside of a catted pipe, but I don't know for sure. |

For those that daily their car as well as track, what kind of OCI are you running on 300V?
Now that I'm tracking a bit more I'm thinking about changing over but drive about 30k miles a year outside of track |

I sent my oil in to Blackstone and have been slowly increasing my oil change intervals. Currently at 7k miles interval with about 2 track days/month. Oil analysis is cheap and gives you a much better look at your oil & engine health.

With track season coming up, I was watching videos of my previous track days to see where I could improve. One thing that I just remembered that happens sometimes in braking zones, the car swings left and right, almost feels like the rear end lost all grip. I wish I could remember if I was applying the same braking force as all the other laps where it didn't occur. What could be causing it?
See video, start at 9:00 at the second braking zone. I will try to find my other track day videos where it's more evident. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcdDJTU6Yv0&t=89s"]TSS x RS Sept 5th Session 5 - YouTube[/ame] Thanks |
