From my understanding it's standard on new Subaru's, or at least the BRZ. I bought mine at Sterling Subaru in College Station.

Wow! My dealer flat told me they wouldn't negotiate because it's a special edition, though they did negotiate on my trade. I'm surprised deals this good are available with only 100 series.blue in the entire country.

my dealer (south coast) told me all cars purchased in CA are qualified for it. i think it is depends on the regional promotion. you can call your dealership to verify.

Yeah I got pretty lucky, Im surprised they actually did it to be honest. Even with the VIP factory invoice it was still at 30500

Going to pull the trigger on the side skirts and front/rear under spoilers.... but the website (subarugenuineparts.com) has a "-2015" at the bottom... I find it hard to believe that they wont fit a 13 or 14. Are the bumpers/side shaped differently? Or is this just a typo..

Invoice minus 2% is $28k so your invoice number is off.

I got the first three services free from Scoggin-****ey in Lubbock. I'll have to ask about the two years.

You didn't. But if invoice minus 2% is $28k then invoice isn't $30k. Actual invoice is just under $29 for the series.blue.

I'm loving it so far, I got a few questions though

1. Since I live in Chicago the snow here is pretty bad, is there anything I can do to help to make the car better with the snow? Like would snow tires be worth it? If so which ones specifically?

2. Does the car come with full synthetic oil or just synthetic? From the manual and dealership it says synthetic, don't know if that means full or maybe a mix?

3. What's a rough mileage for the "break-in" period? I haven't red lined it yet but I did like 6000 RPMs. Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance,

I'll probably have more questions in the future. Nice to be part of the Subaru family!

1. Snow tires are a must in the midwest. I live in Michigan and those summer tires will get you into an accident during the winter. Trust me. Those summer tires won't even let you drive properly in the snow, like at all..

2. Full synthetic, & full synthetic only.

3. After 1,000 miles you're good to go, it's fine if you redline it once in a while...

They're going pretty damn quick. When I bought mine the dealer had 3 more, went back 4 days later and they sold them all
