SRS doesn't really bother me and chimes already disabled via techstream or maybe my Scangauge (was years ago so not sure how). If the module un did that then I'd also been keen for SRS/Chime hard coded to off.

@geraldjust do you ship to Australia?

I'd definitely go for PD always activated and just have the fan toggle option to get some cooling going on back in the pits!

I have looked through the thread but I can’t find a wiring diagram for the tracbox. Just want to know which of the 4 wires switch what feature.

A couple of questions from me that I don't see an answer too:

Is it possible to turn on and off any of the functions while driving? The video seems to indicate the pedal dance can only be activated with the vehicle switched off. Is this also true for the other functions?

I'm also wondering, who would order a trac box with limited functions? Wouldn't anyone be best off just ordering all the features and only wiring up those they need? The two types must be there for a reason?

How does the option for a button instead of a switch work? what type of button is required? momentary?

Thanks,
Michael.

I only got the fan and PD version because I have no need for the other features or have taken care of them in another way.

The fans can be turned on and off at any point when the car has power.

functions like fans, tpms, seatbelts, door lock yes. NOT for pedal dance. as one of the requirements is to have the car stationary. this is impossible to bypass as the abs unit itself is that the wheel speed sensors are connected directly to it. well you could do that. but some people want clean installs. so only include what they needed. The reason i had two types was originally i was just going to do the pedal dance and fan, but since then some people asked me for more features. So to add more i needed more pins. which means i had to redo it to add more but i already had alot of them made. Thus give people the option of choosing what they want. Eventually, everything all will be using the one of the designs.

and for now no one basically selected the push button. But it would be just a single push to turn on, single push to turn off.

Thanks for the response. Just dropped my order in. Nice and not-too-rediculous shipping to Australia too. Really looking forward to setting this up in my car. Thanks so much for making is happen!

I worked with Beastronix to get my old box (which was set up for my 2013 car) working on my new car. I now have the first 2020 86 with a working Beastronix!

If anyone wants a spare cubby trim piece to work with, PM me. I grabbed one from Subaru to mount my switches, but the original came out pretty cleanly. It's sitting in my basement doing nothing. Cover the shipping cost and it's yours.

Here's my install. Took inspiration from seriesblueadventures's switch box, but ordered the switches from Rock Auto and made the panel myself. Blank-out plate is acrylic, spray painted matte black. The Trac Box itself is held on to a metal bracket behind the dash with electrical tape and a zip-tie for insurance. I really don't want it rattling around in there loose, but my hands just don't fit in that space to do any better.

Nicely done, sir! Can't wait to receive my Trac-Box! The switch panel in my car, which is the original one I made by hand before turning to 3D printing for "mass production" is also made of clear acrylic - but covered with Alcantara instead of painted.
