If you say so. I think they're better than pretty much everything else out there. Plus, they aren't everywhere like gramlights (and way easier on the wallet) and RPF1's (3/4 of the price of those). Function won out over form for me.

Inwould have got them too for that reason but came uo on a set of Mach V Awesome for $400 that I couldn't pass up. Love the FN01RC style

Yeah. The +53 offset is kind of a bummer. It limits how much camber you can run with stock struts. I have the OEM V7 STI wheels for winter, and those are 17x7.5 +53, and there's already not a whole lot of clearance. I bought my V7s WITH like new snow tires for $600 dollars, so they certainly are another cheap option. 17ish pounds.
