Want that headliner! Shipping on that is gonna be 'spensive. A new headliner is like $300 new from Subaru, so it would make more sense to ship out your existing headliner.

I think I'm gonna hafta sell my E30 BMW just to be able to do all this stuff... *shrug* Worth it!

Their freight rates aren't bad. They're sending an entire dash board and door panels too.... they preferred I did a core exchange after.

I think to save on shipping I'll end up getting everything all at once. That way I can throw everything all in one big box. I might be driving with a semi-gutted interior for a while LOL. Dammit Subaru, where is my car already??!

Shipping a headliner isn't cheap or easy, they're doing a headliner for me and after I looked into what was involved with packing and shipping it I just had them get me a new one.

So no you aren't just paying for the far better craftsmanship but also the materials, and the guarantee which may not sound important but you don't want interior becoming unglued in the hot sun. If you want to see how some cheap 5 dollar a yard microfiber off ebay holds up over 6 months+ I'd be happy to show you.

JPM FTW. You don't often find exceptional companies these days, but JPM is one. Loving my subaru wheel.
I saw some JPM products also have leather option, but the price is same.

since this is kinda like suede, how easy is it to clean compared to leather? and how easy does it get dirty?

Just a damp rag should be enough for most little stains. It doesn't get dirty too easily, but it does attract lint.

Here's the Alcantara care manual:

I had several items from Redline on my Mini and was quite happy with them. The leather they use is first rate and their craftsmanship is fine.
