Hell, part of the reason I went with the BRZ was the heated seats.

It is possible your memory card is dying as well. Files are constantly being written on the card.
I might have the V1 w/ GPS. Definitely experience connectivity issues with the module. I've since then plugged the power directly into the camera, but recording issues still present itself. I'm going to try a firmware update next.

Is it a regular SD or an Endurance one? I was reading how a lot of SDs fail over time from use on a dash cam so it was recommended to get an endurance one.

Yah...when you think about it SD cards aren't really an ideal media for something like a dashcam. Failure is 100% guaranteed once the cells exceed their write cycle tolerance. A buddy of mine is a recording engineer and they gave up using SSD's in the studio due to the frequency of drive failures over time.

At least cards are cheap...I rotate a few and toss/replace when one goes bad. There are industrial strength cards but they're pricey and will eventually fail as well.

Yup, noticed some screen flickering when connected via GPS. Moved it to the cam that same day.

Yup, I agree. Get a card that can withstand high heat and vibrations.

After work hours coding on a task I'm supposed to get done this week for work...yay...

Our weekly retro/planning meetings are thursdays.. and last week the product manager was pissed this task hadn't been started or even completed yet and I was given responsibility to do it.. So now I'm trying to get it working by, uh, 2pm tomorrow?

Rekt.

Slap yourself? lol.

Dunno what else would keep you awake. Definitely don't listen to music. Your brain will eventually find the rhythm, no matter what genre, and you'll get sleepy. Talk shows may work, but may lead to distractions.
