Ecutek or oft

I decided I’m gonna go for the sbd kit, which ecutek should I get for tuning and can I get away with just the oft tablet for this turbo setup?

I’m stock block right now so I’m just trying to aim for 260-70ish whp.

Someone drop some knowledge.

ecutek is so much better for turbo, you have everything you need for perfect boost control

Just curious, what is OFT missing for turbo applications? And furthermore, is it impossible for them to add those missing functionalities? Seems I always hear ecutek is better for turbo... If I was responsible for the oft brand I'd be looking to close the gap on those missing features.

For lower boost applications your fine with oft say up to 10psi or so.

When you go higher boost or want electronic closed loop boost control then ecutek wins out.

Ecutek overboost protection is also better

Ecutek also supports flex fufel on all models oft only supports pre facelift ie pre 2017 for flex.

Ecutek also has full time closed loop fuel control

Ecutek also has intergrated speed density for higher boost applications.

The main difference is that with oft your altering the tune tavles in a standard rom, ie standard ecu programing. Where with ecutek they add a wgole bunch of additional prpgram\software to the ecu to do stuff like boost control, over boost prptection map switching, flex, speed density , closed loop fuel control and more
