Supercharged FRS vs K20 Civic

I shared this on the K Swap thread but I figured everyone else would enjoy this.

TLDW: FRS lost on a roll race, but won on the track

I imagine that wing caused plenty of drag, but a K-swapped Civic is a quick little car. So not really surprised the FRS won where corners were involved. Thanks for sharing.

A nice indication that a weaker NA motor, can still outperformed a SC'ed motor on a roll race. Car weight matters the most!

I think this shows that area under the curve matters most. In my opinion, centrifugal chargers on our cars have a really poor curve

FRS won the track race without any competition as a real sports car. Drag race was close but I don't care much about it. Even a Ford F150 or Chevrolet Silverado can be that fast. I know by experience

You can all anything a race car if you race it. It is really no more built than any other boosted track car I have seen aside from the cage.

The comments on the youtube video are odd. Jerking each other off over the K motor. The FRS had bad starts on the roll race and destroyed it on the track.
Then a bunch of " if the Honda had better tires, brakes, aero, etc" it would have won the track race.

maybe if you ignore the differences between a race car and a street car but whatever you like.
