It took my about 5 hours simply because I decided to stickerbomb mine heh heh. The bass kicks perfectly while the lyrics are all still clear and audible. My dad is a professional drummer and even he was impressed by the sound quality and hes been exposed to some of the best sound systems in the world. I think the best part about the full system is that they provide an option to make space for a strut tower bar so you can still have a great handling sporty car while having some good tunes to bring with you while driving. 5/5 on this system! Thanks OEMAUDIO for the support and making a great product!
Why the hell didn't I think of this? I have been wanting a place to put stickers of the shops I have bought from and what not. Saw someone do it on the inside of their trunk lid but I have a whiteout and most vinyls are white so it wouldn't work. The sub box is perfect!

Got any pics of yours? I have always wanted to totally stickerbomb something (though I doubt I would do it to the sub myself)

Hey guys,

My name is Jonathan and (for those who might know me on the FRS/BRZ enthusiasts Facebook group) i'm the guy behind the "Retro" BRZ build.

I actually finished installing my Reference 450Q in my Subaru BRZ last week-end (March 4th) and just wanted to let everyone know how satisfied I am as whole with this audio solution.

Installation went very smoothly, instruction videos are clear and well detailed. Would have finished everything in less than 5 hours if not due to a few mistakes (mostly due to inexperience). For example, I struggled quite a bit removing the tweeter on the passenger side vehicle and also trying to put back the cover it would not close 100%. We found online that we had to cut part of the clip for it to close properly.

While I wouldn't consider myself as a pro in the domain, I've had a few sound systems in the past on other cars, but I always had to figure out which amp to get for which sub, etc and installation never went seamlessly, at least for me. OEM Audio+ takes confusion out of the equation. Also, none sounded as good and clear as this one. Like everyone else here has already said, it's simply incredible. You can just feel that there was a lot of love put into it.

My BRZ is still in winter storage, so I haven't had the pleasure of driving it and enjoy the new sound yet. I'm sure it will change my commute to work completely

I would recommend to anyone who is considering to upgrade their audio system of their FRS / BRZ / 86 without hesitation!

Regards,
Jonathan

I installed the OEM Audio Plus system in my car a couple months ago, and it completely changed my love of my BRZ. I've never done any car installation work, so I was a bit intimidated at first-- Now I feel like I can easily dismantle and reassemble the entire car no problem.

Before I really liked the car. Now I love it.

The quality is super crispy, and the bass is perfectly balanced. The EQ settings can get things tuned exactly where they need to be.

Daniel Le Blanc helped me, even on a weekend, to get my system sorted out when I had issues with the wiring.

I'd say OEM Audio system should be a manufacture listed option. It's phenomenal.

I originally got the deepest bass amp setting, and it shook the entire car, which was great that it was capable of doing, but wasnt right for me. So I sent them back the AMP and it was quickly retuned and now It's perfect.

The lengths that Daniel went to to help me were unlike anything i've ever seen in customer experience. I highly recommend him and the company and their system.

I'm so glad I bought it. Some more pics below

I used FatMat as the vibration dampener, and have recently installed some LuxuryLiner Pro to kill some airborne sound.

I really like the results... to this day they have made the car considerably quieter -- most noticeable on highway.

Were you ever able to find a demo opportunity in your area @bumppinKota?

Let us know how we can get involved. Obviously if you're out our way (SoCal) we have you covered. But we can also seek demo opportunities in your area.
