Yup we will be running the Spec86 in TTD, PTD and Spec86 this year. It should be fairly competitive.

2885lbs for the car. Can apply any left over points to weight reduction.

Base weight includes driver at whatever fuel level you come off track. So you'll have to take points for whatever the weight difference ends up being. I'd assume around 7pts for somewhere around 110lb difference. (Just from memory)

Keep in mind I am new to all this and have very little testing time in that setup, but if you are trying to stay in the base class that really is the most logical build. We are limited to 200 hp, I think, so there isnt a whole lot to do to the engine besides exhaust and tune to free up torque. Suspension is a must and you can put together a great package for the 5 points. After that its a question of how many points you want to spend on tires and what to do with those few remaining points.

After just running my first weekend on the current setup I will say it felt great. Still trying to get a feel for everything (first time on R-comp let alone full slicks...) There is still a million adjustments to be made to get everything out of the setup but as a starting point it seems solid. Obviously things vary from track to track so what may work for me could be useless for you.

225 is a 4 point credit
Hoosier R7 is a 10 point tire
Conti sport car challenge EC-Dry is a 8 point tire

We are going with R6 or Contis due to the 8-4=+4 net for our setup.

I will be racing in TTE. The car is completely stock with 225/45/17 Direzza Z2 star specs. I only have a forester XT oil cooler and OFT Stage1 tune. Not sure if I will be very competitive but I hope to have some fun without breaking the bank and keep the car streetable.

The car is base classed in TTD so not sure how you're getting it downgraded a class. ...

tires for TTD base class are 245. I'm going with 225 and getting 4 points back so going down a class.

I could be wrong but according to the nasaforums and the TTB-TTF class calculator it does work that way.
