Blitz Exhaust System Nur-Spec VS styleD

Anyone have any experience with this? Preffably with a UEL?

http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/exsy...ur_styled.html

I don't think I've ever heard anything about this on the forum.

Is it me or does it sound like the Invidia N2 a little?

I have one in my living room waiting to get installed with an EL.

I can only provide feedback on construction at the moment. Hopefully I'll have it on in the next couple of weeks. Just waiting for some aluminum heat shielding tape for my rear bumper

No, but those blue tips are just cringe. Look so terrible. It also seems the exhaust is stainless steel, so the Ti tips are just that much worse.

This is not a direct comparison, but I have a single exit Blitz Nür Spec R stainless steel exhaust and I really like it. You can check out this thread where I describe my experience with the exhaust and show a few pictures of it on the car:

Overall, they make a solid product and I’m very happy with mine.

im definitely a fan of burnt tips. i like a more muted style, smoked out, murdered, tinted etc. and bright shiny chrome exhaust tips just draw attention to your exhaust that i dont like. burnt tips ftw.

A fan? Burnt tips scream 'RACE CAR EXHAUST. TITANIUM WOOOOOOO' Stainless is a more classic look.

Alright so I bit the bullet and decided to buy it because of an extremely good deal on it that was almost too good to be true. It was sadly not the burnt tips but, hey it's not like I'll be looking at the tips. But, I'll be listening to it most of the time.

It sounds great.

Installation was a snap. Very very easy to put on. No leaks. Great gaskets from Blitz.

Some key points:

• Very little drone.
• Not that loud at all.
• Very deep sound.
• Little rasp.

Keep in mind this is with an Unequal Length Header. There's a video of it stock right here.

Finally got around to installing and recording. Never got a catback-only recording, but here it is with catless system, EL headers.

Got a sound level meter. Full catless cold start registered at ~97 dBA. Fast revs to 6K RPM registered ~106 dBA peak, easy revs to 6K and held steady registered ~100 dBA peak. Rough measurement at 2 ft away, 45 degrees up from the level plane of the exhaust tip. This isn't too surprising considering the JASMA rating was ~93 dB for catback only

After living with the catless system for a few months: it certainly has some drone around ~3k RPM, but is not unbearable. Quite quiet outside that range and when easy on the throttle.

Some in-cabin clips of spirited driving:

I had a hard time getting my hands on replacement gaskets, as Blitz has discontinued sale of ones compatible for this exhaust.

I found that Apexi 199-A009 (P90 D61.5 Std 2-bolt) Gasket works as an alternative
