2017 Toyota 86 Special Edition - White - MT - 17K - $20K

Hi there! Though this car has only 17K miles on it (still under MFG warranty), my family dynamics are (happily!) changing and I can no longer justify a 2+2 seater. Here are the details of this super-fun car:

$20,800
-2017
-Blizzard (Pearl) white
-Manual Transmission
-still under manufacturer warranty
-clean title
-brand new alternator and battery, installed by Toyota (they just would not believe me that the battery was known to be sub-optimal on these cars, so they replaced the alternator, and then found out it was a bad battery...then they replaced the battery
-non-smoker, no pets ever in car, no accidents
-aftermarket Kenwood stereo installed (BT phone, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), with steering wheel controls retained
-all factory services done through Toyota
-never track-raced
-the only cosmetic issues are: the dealer drilled license plate holes in front bumper, though front license plate holder covers them up. There are also a couple of stripes down the center of the car from where I applied stickers, and them removed them, and are a very faint yellow/orange color. I think they look subtle and nice, and are even

Everything else is great about this car, thanks!

Car is in Northern California, and I still have loan on it, but we can use escrow service to keep everything nice and neat

I saw a car this morning that looked just like yours pulling in to the golf course on Redwood Road in Castro Valley. Did you do the stereo swap yourself, or at a shop? Good luck with the sale!

Ha! Nope, not me... Unless my car is having some sort of side gig! I am more in the East Bay, thanks!

The stereo swap was done by Best Buy...I still have the original headunit and a Joying unit I would include with the sale as well. Also probably a Seasucker dual bike mount ($450) I would include as well.

Also, to make the deal more sweet:

I will also include a "Seasucker Mini Bomber" bike rack that uses suction cups, and works great with this car, made for two bikes.

This rack also includes a $70 locking front fork mount for though-hole mountain bikes. The price for both is $490 plus $70 for a total of $560 that you will get for free when you purchase the vehicle

I’m new to this platform. Are those stripes painted on or stickers?

Do you still have this car for sale?

Thanks for asking! This is the 2017 special edition, so it came with those black stripes from the factory. They are vinyl stickers that can be removed it desired (some people on this forum have removed theirs, liking the clean look better... Some have kept them).

Yes. It is still for sale, thanks. PM me with your contact info if you want to see it.

Thanks for your reply.. can you post some interior pics? What are differences with the Special edition? Sorry I’m new to this platform.

Sure! Here are two pics of the interior:

The Toyota Special Edition is essentially like the Subaru BRZ in terms of the instrument cluster (digital speedometer, other graphs in the computer display in the instrument cluster). There is "86SE" badging on the inside, on the fuzzy dashliner, there is 86SE badging on the central armrest near the seat heaters. It is essentially the nice parts of the Subaru BRZ, brought over to the styling of the Toyota model, with the stripes, etc. I personally liked the styling of the Toyota version better, hence why I purchased it

Nice car. Good price. I'd be all over this car if I didn't get my 86 last year especially since I'm in Nor Cal too.

Go back in time? I'm not too sure how those processes work but technology might be able to accomplish that, maybe?

Only about 4K miles ago did the car feel truly broken in

The Premium trim of BRZ doesn't have those features (push to start, dual climate, lcd gauge, etc), only the Limited one.
