Ya I was watching that battle and wishing I wasn't driving like crap. Brian drove crazy well all weekend. Mark said he was struggling with some stuff with his car and I think that got in his head a little.

He's probably running with Nathan in STR.

Gives us all a little bit of hope. Looking at the videos, probably a great twin course thought.

Great job by Brian, but I have to think Scroggs was aiming to get Super Challenge points with his 40 points for the finale already locked up.

Anybody with Koni's getting clunks in the rear? Seems to only be noticeable on low speed bumps, but it didnt show up until after an event on Sunday. I'm thinking something needs torquing somewhere.

None here. Check the top nut and endlink nuts.

Haven't checked them yet, but that's what I was thinking, too.

To be fair, the car was in an accident and had to have a few suspension bits replaced. My friend in a WRX has similar noises and thinks his are coming from where the axle is connected to the diff.

Would take it back to the shop, but they took long enough that I'd rather not deal with them again. Car drives fine, but the noise is already driving me crazy.

Mine were clunking in the front after installation - it was the endlink nut a bit loose. On previous cars, it's almost always the the top nuts which are hard to torque correctly unless you have the right tools.

Mine are doing it in the front. I installed a Strano fsb at the same time, and was figuring that might be off center, but I'll check the endlink nuts before pulling off the underbody panels.

I know that the FSB is hitting the control arm and causing a clunk there, I haven't gotten a chance to get to that yet. Is it possible that it may be causing the rear to feel clunky, too? It seems to feel distinctly different from the front and rear.

It was about the most 86 friendly course we could have possibly had on that site.

He definitely was focused more on the challenge since he's after triad or whatever that is.

Triad is Tour & Match Tour Win (or Tour/Tour win) and Nationals Win. Triad isn't associated with ProSolo.

I talked with him afterwards, said he had setup issues he couldn't figure out until too late. I don't think he'd throw away a win to win a Super (by the way it was his first Super Challenge Win and it's very easy to cone away a good chance at one; so trying to setup yourself for success will always almost end in failure). Only reason why I won mine is that I accidentally RL my quickest right side run, and in the challenge I kept on breaking out to match that time.

Yeah, don't sell yourself short Locust. Mark was trying his very best to win. Looking forward to meeting you at Nats.

I won a Super Challenge once. It's definitely a mix of good driving and some luck. When I won, I hit two cones on one run, but Kinch hit three. When I got to the final pairing, it started snowing and I was in an AWD STU Subaru and Paul Brown was on Kumho 710s. I figured all I had to do was keep it clean then

Eric - you suck!
