Another one, when she woke up, she wanted to know where her car was so she could drive home. Yikes.

Moral of the story: Please be nice to nurses. They really appreciate it. They not only have to deal with the crazy patients, but also crazy nurses that don't pick up after themselves.
Thanks for sharing! I'll be a lot nicer to nurses now.

Good Lord, I've been out drifting for nearly five hours now.

E30, FRS, C55, and a tC, plowing the roads of central Illinois.

If you're doing in the public street, next time I see you, I'm going to kill you!

Hope you're doing in somewhere safe... right? RIGHT?!?!?!

Quick question, what puts more mechanical strain on an engine.
Sc or turbo?
I always thought sc - thanks

Empty lots and country backroads mostly! Don't worry, we don't drift in traffic and in elementary schools lol.

For the same power level output to the wheels a supercharger is less efficient and therefore more power goes into running the compressor. So, as you thought the supercharger is putting more mechanical strain on the engine.

Also, at low rpm oil pressures aren't as high and the slower rotational speed of the journals in the bearings means that the oil isn't able to create as strong of a wedge between the two parts. A positive displacement compressor, ie. a twin screw like the Innovate, has the possibility of moving sufficient air at low rpm to make it possible to over stress the engine and cause metal on metal contact.

But, a turbo is only one blown vacuum line or a stuck waste gate away from an overboost. A supercharger wont overboost unless you're limiting manifold pressure, which none of the off the shelf systems do.

What's your power goals?

Thanks @Calum! And if I ever did do something like that I would pick sc over turbo. Because last I checked the price was less/and I was more focused on tq.
I asked about it because someone said turbo put more strain, I didn't want to argue so I just said "okay" I just wanted to be sure I wasn't nuts cause I could have sworn I read otherwise.
