Supra Inspired FRS- Tail light conversion

I've been fantasizing about purchasing an FRS with the sole intention on building a Supra-inspired FRS. This is because I believe the new Supras are ugly and are too far removed from what the Supra originally looked like. Interestingly enough though, the FRS platform looks and feels like what a continuation of a supra shouldve looked like; with a little help. What do yall think of my concept?

PS. These are aftermarket LED supra tail lights, obviously, which is kind of a blending of the past with the present and, again, seems what a continuation of the Supra Tail lights could have looked like.

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for your input. The many impractical issues raised concerning the complexities of the tail light conversion have swayed me from pursuing it.

1) When did you see the final version of the Supra to know it's ugly?

2)How in the hell is that trunk going to even open. Don't get me wrong,I'm digging the look but it's totally impractical.

Hopefully the real (ugly) Supra will have tail lights that are of an even height.

Idiot Toyota designers! Don't they know how to use photoshop badly?

FRS with Supra Tail Light Conversion

I gave an FRS a Supra tail light conversion just to see what it'd look like. I think I'm going to do this.

Stupid idea is stupid. You should throw on a mk4 bumper too, for good measure.

Also, I don't believe you think the new supra is ugly. I think your bank account just doesn't agree with projected msrp.

I grew up in a time when Supra taillights molded into the back of cars was a thing at car shows.

Didn't imagine it would make a comeback in 2017...

What all you have to do and that your trunk will be pretty much unusable afterwards?
