Thanks Lil Abner, this is great.

Has anyone found a dash kit solution that doesn't include a dremel? I'm looking at the clarion nx602 which is 7"x6.4"x3.9" . (lol I'm just not confidant in my customization skills)

There's a mic near the map-light.

Not likely as the mic plug is different than most aftermarket head units will accept. It would be nice if they offer an adapter, but I haven't found one yet.

Buy a cheap tablet or an HP WebOS one and install Android. They're like 100-150 bucks and seem really great 16GB/32GBs

Lil Abner, Thank you for the step by step radio removal. Saves a lot of trial and error.

I installed the Pioneer AVH-P8400BH with everything else factory in my U.S. FR-S and then ran the AutoEQ with the special mic and the settings it came up with were:

0 2 6 -8 -2 6 2 0

It was tricky to get the menu item to stop being greyed out and selectable, I had to change my backup camera from battery to "off" and then was able to run the AutoEQ.

There's another Toyota wiring harness for the USB. I don't have the part number. Also talk to SVXdc about the AUX. he maybe able to help you out. He might know the part number for the USB too.
