Unhappy Seat Rails: My seat will no longer slide forward or backwards?

A few weeks back I was vacuuming my car (yes @sav ) and noticed that the driver seat would not move forward or backwards. I've spoken to a few people who say this was a Scooby issue at one stage.

Has anyone else locally or in the rest of the world had this issue?

As my car is under warranty I made an active decision not to attempt to troubleshoot... Due for service in about a month or so, will pass the buck on this one unless I hear of an easy fix?

Thanks in advance!

Pull up the lever under the form of the seat and then slide it.
They are designed to stay in one place because it could be dangerous if they slide around.
You're welcome!

My passenger seat did the same a couple of weeks ago. It was like it did not engage the rail lock correctly. I rocked it back an forth (With Force)and it engaged the lock and has worked perfectly since then.
