I'm the same way, I could look at this car all day. Even if the car drove like complete crap, I would most likely keep it just because it's like rolling art to me. Absolutely beautiful.

Is anybody but me loving the placement of that oil filter? I like to run something like Amsoil for about 12-15K miles and just change the filter every 4K miles. This filter location will make that a snap. My Celica had an easily accessible filter like that.

I love the oil filter placement as well. That is very convenient!!!

My only concern is that you get a little more of a dry start with every oil change since the filter is standing straight up. I normally fill my new filter with a bit of oil before I install it to minimize that short time when you restart that you would have less than ideal oil flow.

I've never done spark plugs on a boxer engine... I wonder how difficult that will be in the BRZ?

Not sure about this motor design, but with the EJ motors it is a PITA.

Nowhere near as nice as my Evo with them right on top, but a lot better than some other cars.

You get at the spark plugs from the wheel well with the motor in this position, no worries. Its probably just a plastic panel to remove under there and you have access.

Interesting. Do we have any pictures of inside the wheel wells yet? Assuming it is the case, having to jack the front end up and remove the wheels to change spark plugs is pretty dumb.
