Relocate the Oil Filter for Supercharged 86

Hi my fellow frs/brz owners,
I recently installed a Kraftwerks SC. Because i track my car i feel i'm oblige to install a oil cooler. I found a shop who can install the oil cooler i bought, the oil cooler is cheaper and not branded but pretty much solid. The problem was it won't fit on the SC kit because the oil filter host hit the bracket, so the shop relocate the oil filter position near the rotrex. (It is circle in the photo)
Brothers do you think it will affect on how the oil filter works? Considering it has more distance from the engine. Do you think it will affect the pressure pushing the oil in the engine?
Thanks in advance,
I appreciate it

It won't have any effect on either flow or pressure.

As long as the pressure you car sees is within spec you shouldn't have any problems. I personally would install a extra gauge for oil pressure so you can monitor continuously.

Remote filters (even dual remote filters) are common in many high performance/race setups ranging most every make of engine. So long as the hoses, fittings, filter block, filter etc are selected correctly it will be absolutely fine.

Just make sure its a quality oil cooler and install. Recently one of our friends had his oil cooler suddenly leak on the track. Oil caught fire and proceeded to burn the engine harness. I forgot how much that harness cost him. I know it was a lot though.
