Went up for a drive up ACH with a friend. Oh and a Grimmspeed front plate kit was put on because California.

Had fun doing this, especially learning something new. This was a test piece and carbon fiber isn't as expensive as you may think. All in all it's a success though I still have to clean up where the ends meet. It's not perfect but who cares! I made it! Now to install it.

For a first time i think you did awesome!! A lot better than my first time thats for sure... Anyone that's hating on it doesn't understand the skill it takes to hand lay carbon.

Wet laying takes a lot of practice. Any imperfection as small as it may seem at the time can completely ruin a piece and I think you did good. The next time you do it you'll be twice as good. Just have to learn from your mistakes. You can always put another sleeve overtop the old one if you want to try again.

Tail lights were finally replaced under warranty today, and 30k service done. Also priced out the tires I want for the not too distant future.
