Correct, I have verified with them, so total savings is $1500 for the blemished models.

In case it is the bypass valve - how hard is it to swap it out?
I know this is a month late... but its super easy to replace, and edelbrock will cover it under their warranty as well.

Its literally three small nuts and like a level, took me 10-15 minutes.

The legs aren't quite lined up with the top of the manifold. small space of raw aluminium on the side, but it doesn't interfere with airflow or impact performance.

anyone here running a 3" pulley on stock motor? If so, how has it been holding up? How long have you had it on for?

a little off topic but uh, has anyone noticed a huge gain difference from swapping out the overpipe provided that the rest of the exhaust is changed?

also throwing this out there.. if I'm on e85 with this setup, should I use 5w30 and have e85 + boost be the reason to use 5w30 or still go back down to 0w20?

E85 + small pulley on a stock motor... not gonna last too long if you're actually using the power, and I don't think you'd be asking if you weren't using the power.

Instead of increasing the boost, I recommend making the boost you already have more efficient, with a top shelf header like the Ace.

He may not want to do a header because he lives in Cali. Maybe core the precat instead. Easier to hide e85 from the popo than a catless header.

If the car also looks incredibly decked out with race-inspired components, that may also trigger some profiling by the law enforcement, which may also inspire reasonable suspicion that the car may be modified. If you're going to go all the way with just off-road use components, may as well go all the way.

To be honest I dont know what he owns, but I did a quick search and saw he was in the market at one point for a CARB only used JRSC, so considering his interest in CARB legal, thats why I sad the aftermarket header might be an expensive risk considering getting caught without a cat in Cali is a huge fine. Catless headers are also pretty loud drawing big attention from police.

As David states above, I'm a poser.

I think you make enough power to back up the volume of your car

Does anyone have a comparison of this kit versus the kraftwerks c30? My boyfriend has the c30 for 2 years with no issues and I almost bought that one, but I couldn't pass up the warranty on this kit as well as the price was good. Still waiting on mine to arrive in the mail.

I really want to be faster than my boyfriend but in a safe way, I don't want to risk my engine or go e85. Is it realistic to be faster than a krafterks c30 tuned on 93? Mine will also be tuned 93 by either the shop that did his or a local tuner. Both of our internals are stock besides cat back exhaust, I have the spec-d and he has the hks.

Hard to say - if both kits are well tuned to extract max power, and both cars have similar mods, I'd say the Edelbrock would be faster for street driving. The KW kit might have an advantage with repeated pulls (heat soak) at the track. When you get your kit installed, you tell us
