Interesting question... But I am sure there are many people that would like to know. So thanks for asking.

We use all the stock ECU features within the ECU which includes the knock sensors and safe guards built into the ECU from the factory. We also offer additional features that we offer listed below.

Additional Safety Features:
Tip In Knock Correction - All Vehicles (NA or FI)
Overboost Safety Features - Boosted Vehicles

Hope that answers your question.

Cheers,
William Knose

I'll be looking fwd to this. .....hope you break 190whp on pump gas (or even 200whp hehe)

Edit:
What about this idea?: when you revisit your dyno shop next time on a nicer cooler day, reflash your car back to stock and bring your laptop ...get a stock tune baseline run 1st. Then, reflash to the Stage2 tune. This way, you'll see the real improvement and will also have a baseline run. Idk if you're willing to do that though; but it should be easy and only take a couple extra mins if you bring your laptop..

@DeliciousTuning:

If someone would like to get a "custom" tune from you...

- How much would it be?
(is there a set base price for "custom tune"?..or is it your OTS $300 tune plus an additional revision cost?)

- And what would be the tuning process?
(do you start with your current OTS tunes, and then revise/customize from that ..or do you start totally fresh with no tunes at all?)
(would it be in-person/on-the-dyno? ..or will it be datalogging/remotely?)

- How long, how many hours, would a "custom" on-the-dyno tune take?

thanks

Sent a PM on your website - need help with license as I am trying to program the car and it says it found no flash license.

Update, nevermind - I figured out how this ecutek license update works and now have the flash license I need.

I'm still here

...in addition to my last post:
- Will a custom tune, or a tune after an OTS NA tune for personalized/fine/per-car tuning, be significantly better? ..or not really worth it and your OTS are pretty good as is and good to go already?

Thx

Like say... if someone swapped in an LS3 in the FRS/BRZ. I wonder how much xtra power you skilled guys can milk from a stock 430hp LS3 NA engine?
To answer my own question and myself...I've readers read CMS (Cunningham Motorsports) in SoCal are the best LSx tuners...for anyone in Cali

To sum it up, all of our maps are based off of hundreds of hours of dyno time from customers in all different climates and conditions. We take everything we see to make an off the shelf map that, if we really took the time to go above and beyond on, would likely only net a couple extra ponies here and there in the end. Power is fantastic as is, same with drivability and so on. In my honest opinion, especially on an NA vehicle, there is no reason to pay extra for the custom dyno tuning. And you're local to us, so if I was misleading you to try to get more money I'd attempt to convince you otherwise

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Thx..makes sense

I've never flashed before..but I've read the instructions and it looks super easy. If and when I get your tune, and I wanted to get a dyno at my local shop ..would it be easy and best to go there stock and bring my laptop, get a few stock dyno runs first, then flash it myself quickly at the shop, then get dyno runs with the new tune..?

That would be ideal. Baseline runs before tuned runs are required for any kind of reference point. Things start getting questionable with no baseline run, or with a baseline run done in different weather, let alone a different dyno. Do it all in one day on one dyno. Peak numbers aren't as important as the gains under the curve as every dyno will read differently, and even moreso since weather is so influential.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Would you guys be able to do this? ...baseline dyno run, flash my ecu with your tune, then a tuned run. How much would you charge for something simple and quick like this (since there will be no tuning nor lots of time involved)?

Aside from the normal cable, license, and tune, it would be $125 to load the car on the dyno, do a couple baseline runs, flash it, do some after flash runs, and unload the car.
