Hey chanomatik did you replace the throwout bearings too or just the clutch?

I ordered a new rubber gasket, washer and pin for where the shifter meets the shifter linkage figuring that needs to be disconnected in order to drop the gearbox?

I don't do heavy mechanical work on my own car. The hardest thing I'll tackle is swapping struts/springs. I had a trusted performance shop do it. I didn't even look at the bill since I prepaid everything, so I don't know exactly all that was replaced. I think most places locally will just replace the throwout bearing at the same time, but I'd have to double-check that for ya.

Man I just got the throw out bearing too when I went to pickup the misc parts today just in case. I saw the pix of the melted ones on another thread and it's scary!

Does anybody know the part numbers to the interior trim pieces? EDIT. found them

Haha i found them on a GT86 website. I couldnt stand how cheap the aussie flat black trim interior parts looked but didnt want to pay top price for Ts black trim pieces on japanparts.com. Now i purchased them for half off on amayama

Okay the STI clutch and pressure plate are in, clutch fluid replaced with ATE Typ 200 DOT-4 (left over from the brake job).

Almost stalled it when I first hopped onto the car, but quickly became second nature after driving a few blocks. The clutch pedal is slightly firmer (not heavy by any means) but the engagement is way more accurate. The car now just hooks up and goes (I can't imagine how it would be after installing all of the STI hard rubber mounts and bushings). Heel and toe downshift to 2nd gear has never been this smooth.

I almost find this new setup easier to drive than stock. Feels pretty bad ass actually.

Still on the fence in regards to the mounts and bushings (i.e. increase NVH for daily driving). Will definitely get the STI/Bilstein suspension kit eventually (KW V3 coils money right there ouch).

Planning to go with Bilstein yellow since this set is designed to be compatible with the normal car, yet the Showa silver is designed with just the BRZ tS model in mind imho.

I don't want to build a BRZ tS as I know it would be impossible in the absolute sense, I just want to build a BRZ with a factory STI Performance Package of sort.
